Gordon Vinther
President & Chief Technology Officer

Gordon is President and a founder of Ardent. He directs all R&D at Ardent with a focus on developing revolutionary patented connector technology enabling integrated circuit manufacturers and systems integrators to bring to market the fastest, highest performing computer systems. Prior to starting Ardent, Gordon developed his interconnect expertise working at Everett Charles Technologies (ECT) designing custom “pogo” style interfaces, a technology which subsequently became a mainstay in the socket industry. Gordon has over twenty years of experience developing high‐performance interconnect technologies for diverse industries, including semiconductor, communications, and military/aerospace.

Gordon is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, holds a MBA from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, and holds 19 patents, with more US and foreign patents pending.

David Emma
Executive Vice President, Sales, Marketing & Business Development

David brings with him over 30 years of sales and engineering experience to Ardent. An accomplished business development professional with a background in engineering, Emma’s contributions will come from his ability to grow Ardent’s sales channels by bringing leading edge compression mount, high frequency connectors and probes through development and out to market quickly and efficiently.

Emma previously served as Vice President of Sales, Engineering & Marketing at ThingMagic, a division of Trimble Navigation. ThingMagic is a leading provider of RFID reader engines and development platforms as well as design and consulting services for the world’s largest industrial automation firms, semiconductor companies, communications companies, and military applications.

Sergio Diaz
Director, Engineering

Sergio currently heads Ardent Concepts engineering team. Upon completion of a degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Sergio has spent over a decade devoting his engineering expertise to design, manufacture, and validation of mechanical and electrical components. Currently spearheading Ardent’s engineering projects for organizations like Intel, Broadcom, Lockheed Martin, and BAE, Sergio constantly finds innovative solutions to interconnect complications and obstructions. His patented solutions have paved the way for Ardent’s customers to develop applications that are faster, smaller, and more cost effective.

Sergio holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
